Oil prices still on the rise

25 Feb

Increasing oil prices continue to be one of the major concerns as the rebellion crisis in the Middle East has now spread into Northern Africa as well.  The latest uprising in Libya has some calling this the greatest threat to our global oil supply since the Persian Gulf War.  There are spare supplies of oil that could be tapped into if necessary.  However, these supplies might not last very long if more protests continue to disrupt other countries as well.  Currently, the national average for a gallon of gasoline is $3.28 and here in North Texas the average is $3.09 per gallon.
