Duke Wins fifth National Championship

On Monday, April 6, Duke University won their fifth national championship in basketball. Duke battled it out with Wisconsin for the title and over came with the win 68-63.

The game was a suspenseful power struggle between these two teams. Both teams were on their best game. The score was tight the entire night. Wisconsin was leading in the second half by 11 points until Duke turned up the intensity and scored 10 points in a row to close the gap which allowed them to gain momentum to over take Wisconsin.

In the end, both teams played an outstanding game that both schools would be proud of. The victory to Duke was the first championship in a five year time period.
